From the dark ages

A new blog post arrives!   :drunk: :couple:

Wow it has been ages hasn’t it. I can’t believe I haven’t been on my blog since August 2011!

Oh, well now that things are calming down, I can get back into blogging again. It’s also great, I can use my iPad to blog as well, which makes it a lot easier since I don’t need to sit down and boot up the laptop – not that it takes ages to load but oh well.

So Christmas and New Year have come and gone and it’s back to work and the simple routine of wakeup – work – sleep – wake up. With food and twitter thrown in there somewhere.
I for once actually had a relaxing Christmas then again it was only my parents and me as my sister was with her in-laws. It was nice though, no panicking, no having to wait on other people, no people saying oh I don’t want this or I don’t want to eat now. Nope it was very nice.

Loved all my Christmas presents as well! My dad gave me an iPad, my mum gave me the traditional new Pyjamas, and she got me this amazing Hello Kitty box set. I had to leave it at my parents home though as it didn’t fit into my bag. My sis and brother in law gave me a perfume set, and a Hello Kitty mug and I got this lovely shawl from my sister’s in laws. :cute:

I love my new iPad, I am still getting the hang of it but I love it! I need to download a few more apps and subscribe to a few more things but really, I so love it. <3 (I have no heart smiley!!)

Over New years, my sister told me of a Sky TV series based on a series of books – The song of Fire and Ice (Game of thrones). I watched the series first (as usually I find that the TV adaption’s are never as good as the books) and I loved it! I am currently on book 3 and it’s amazing. I can’t believe I never heard of it before. Does anyone else have any good recommendations? I am really trying to get back into the habit of reading a good series – so far I’ve only been reading Chick Lit (hey, it’s fantastic) but I want to read other things now as well. So any recommendations would be great! :cute:

Oh yes, new layout is up. Let me know if there are any viewing problems

Oh which also reminds me, it seems I had a problem with my database which was running Enth3 – it crashed! Which is strange as none of my other databases had this problem. Anyway, I managed to fix it, which is good. I asked Hostgator if they could see any reason as to why it crashed but they couldn’t. Strange. :saywha: (error was something like error executing query and I couldn’t log into my enth3 admin page)

Waterparks, dresses and pain in your backside

OMG I can’t believe that I haven’t blogged at all in ages. I did have a blog entry all written out but I can’t even find it now – and it had some pictures of my Hello Kitty purchases. Ah well, I will probably rewrite it later on sometime.

This weekend we finally bought my bridesmaid dress and it is lovely!!! :cute: All I am going to say is that it is navy and sort of prom style. But it looks good on me and hides this mountain of fat I have all around me. I can’t wait to wear it. I’ve also bought a bag to go with it and seen some really nice shoes! I just love shopping.

Also, I am super excited because on the 17th it’s my birthday and we are going to Dubai… to the Atlantis Hotel water park!! I can’t wait. It’s going to be so much fun. I’m not really one for much swimming but I do think the water park will be fun. But there is no way I am going on the vertical drop slide. No way!

I’ve been super busy arranging stuff for my sister and studying. I am organising a family hen weekend for her (the wild one :sweatdrop: is already organised with her friends, can’t wait for it) and check this, we are going to Euro Disney!! How fricking cool is that! It was said that we have been to Disney lands all over place (USA and Japan) and that’s the only one we’ve not been too so we decided to go. So far, it’s just mum, sis and me, maybe my cousins but eh, we will see. Can’t wait. Also arranging some other stuff like a car for my sis and bro-in-law when they come back home the next day and also making a personalised message book so that people can leave messages to them on the wedding. So much to do, along with these exams I need to revise for and isn’t it brilliant that among all of this I have managed to pull a muscle! :lazy: Somewhere from my spine to my backside all I can feel is pain. It’s so crap and so not fun sitting on a train all weekend either. Life can never be easy can it? :emo:

I also need to find some time and get working on some of domains as well – hkarim.net and sappy.me. It’s so frustrating when you know you need to work on something but it’s just finding the time. I seem to have a zillion things to in the days. Oh well, I just need to plan it all. Anyway, once I am back I will upload some pictures and blog about my holiday and birthday. Here’s hoping that 29 is going to be better than 28!
