A new blog post arrives!

Wow it has been ages hasn’t it. I can’t believe I haven’t been on my blog since August 2011!

Oh, well now that things are calming down, I can get back into blogging again. It’s also great, I can use my iPad to blog as well, which makes it a lot easier since I don’t need to sit down and boot up the laptop – not that it takes ages to load but oh well.

So Christmas and New Year have come and gone and it’s back to work and the simple routine of wakeup – work – sleep – wake up. With food and twitter thrown in there somewhere.
I for once actually had a relaxing Christmas then again it was only my parents and me as my sister was with her in-laws. It was nice though, no panicking, no having to wait on other people, no people saying oh I don’t want this or I don’t want to eat now. Nope it was very nice.

Loved all my Christmas presents as well! My dad gave me an iPad, my mum gave me the traditional new Pyjamas, and she got me this amazing Hello Kitty box set. I had to leave it at my parents home though as it didn’t fit into my bag. My sis and brother in law gave me a perfume set, and a Hello Kitty mug and I got this lovely shawl from my sister’s in laws.

I love my new iPad, I am still getting the hang of it but I love it! I need to download a few more apps and subscribe to a few more things but really, I so love it. <3 (I have no heart smiley!!)

Over New years, my sister told me of a Sky TV series based on a series of books – The song of Fire and Ice (Game of thrones). I watched the series first (as usually I find that the TV adaption’s are never as good as the books) and I loved it! I am currently on book 3 and it’s amazing. I can’t believe I never heard of it before. Does anyone else have any good recommendations? I am really trying to get back into the habit of reading a good series – so far I’ve only been reading Chick Lit (hey, it’s fantastic) but I want to read other things now as well. So any recommendations would be great!

Oh which also reminds me, it seems I had a problem with my database which was running Enth3 – it crashed! Which is strange as none of my other databases had this problem. Anyway, I managed to fix it, which is good. I asked Hostgator if they could see any reason as to why it crashed but they couldn’t. Strange. (error was something like error executing query and I couldn’t log into my enth3 admin page)

So I have a blog post written ages ago and was went to post it when laziness took over and in the end I didn’t. Oh well, seems like 2011 will be no different to 2010 then.

So anyway, I can’t believe it’s Feb already. Last week it was my sister’s engagement party – the one from my parents side, this weekend it’s the one from his side (and mainly their friends at this one). It went really well, naturally there were some incidents (best left unmentioned due to the stupidity of certain guests involved) but the venue was lovely and omg the food was delicious! I am also so happy that I fit into my Lengha, it was a tight fit but I got into it in the end. This calls definitely for me to join Weight Watchers and lose some weight. I’ve decided to go with Weight watchers online as I mainly do eat their ready meals anyway and one problem I found with slimming world is the cooking for one. It’s so boring to cook for one person and in the end the amount of washing up that is involved always puts me off cooking. So yea, I am going to have to stick to it though. I have to lose a lot of weight before October.
