Lenghas, handbags and more shopping

Even though it’s meant to be getting slightly warmer as we are approaching spring in March, I am still feeling so damn cold! You know the cold where parts of your body aches and you feel like you’ve aged 50 years. I am really feeling like that this week. Probably getting some experience before I start feeling like that permanently.

My mum and sister are in India and shopping away for the wedding. I’ve been told that they have been doing much shopping and have bought my outfit! I can’t wait to see mine, from what they have described it sounds so beautiful, and it’s two of my favourite colours. Of course it’s nothing compared to my sisters but hey, she is the bride! I just love wearing lengha’s and they are so much easier to wear than saris.

Oh well, I won’t see them until the first week of March so I will have to wait. I am sure work and studying will keep me much occupied until then …………………. *cough*

I’ve joined weight watchers to try and lose some weight and so far it has been an eye opener. I’ve not had to cut down drastically with the amount I eat but even eating low fat things add up and it’s teaching me to cut down. I am trying to cut down on sugary things mainly. It’s my one weakness. I also need to get back into exercising and I know it’s only laziness that is preventing me. I need to start shifting some weight pronto, as soon my sister will be looking for her English wedding dress and my bridesmaid dress and I refuse to look like a toilet roll puff holder thing.

I bought a Kindle and I love it. It’s so easy to use and read. You really do end up forgetting that you are not holding a real book. One thing I did think would be is that I would miss turning the pages but seriously, I don’t. I love the fact I can have all my books to hand as right out my all my paperbacks are split between here and my parents home. The only downside is, new books are pricey but hey not as much as hardbacks.

Apart from that, I’ve bought some tops from Evans for work. I refuse to wear my jumpers anymore, I don’t care how cold it is, I am tired of wearing the same jumpers since October.

Also treated myself to a new Radley bag – it’s gorgeous. :couplekiss:

Speaking of tired, I am sick of my hair and eyebrows. My hair has ended up looking like I have ginger highlights and I hate it. It doesn’t look so bad on the bottom but by the roots it looks horrible. As for my eyebrows, because I made the stupid mistake of going to Superdrug (when my regular eyebrow threading lady was on holiday) who ended up threading my eyebrows too thin (and I mean really thin) because at that time it was the party in a week’s time, I had to keep them that thin. So anyway, my regular one told me to get my old shape back I have to let them fully grow back and I can tell you it’s horrible. I look like I have small black caterpillars or something. And what is even more annoying is that they are taking forever to grow back. Usually it takes a week or two before I know I have to get them done, well it’s been 3 weeks and while hair has grown back, it’s nowhere near long enough to form part of my eyebrow. So I have to walk around with hairy unkempt eyebrows. It is actually that horrible that it warrants a cry. No really, it is.

Aww hun I’m sure you do not look like one of those toilet roll holder things. *hughug* Anyway, my mum is trying a product called Sensaslim. You can look it up – I think you can buy it out of Australia and have it shipped. She’s tried it for a few days now and already is seeing results. She lost a bit of weight and said her legs feel firmer; I’ve noticed it too. I just wanted to throw that out there. I’m sure it’ll help, along with the dieting you’re doing!

What a cute bag! :D Not really my style, but it’s very nice. ^_^

I hope your eyebrows stop misbehaving and grow out nicely. I’ve never plucked mine or anything because I’m scared it’ll grow out funny. I think it looks okay anyway. Hopefully you can cover yours up with makeup or somehow change how they look as they grow. *HUGS*!

I’m sure that the rest of us don’t notice your eyebrows or hair. So the phrase, “we are our worse judges”. But hair always grows back, no matter how slowly. And before you know it, you’ll look just like before again!

My health teacher in high school said that weight watchers was a very good program, because it seemed to focus more on moderation rather than extremes. I hope that you’re successful!
